Best Places to Work (BPTW) in Oklahoma 2020 rankings have been announced. Delta Dental of Oklahoma (DDOK) was ranked No. 1 of 17 honorees in the small/medium company category. DDOK appeared in position 2 on this same list in 2019, and this is the third consecutive year DDOK has finished in the top 3.
A valuable part of the BPTW process is a survey of employees organized by The Journal Record newspaper and Best Companies Group. According to the survey, DDOK’s annual employee appreciation month and incentive compensation plans are among the top reasons why employees love working for the company.“DDOK’s work would not be possible without the tireless efforts of our employees, who strive to provide superior customer service to our constituents, and regularly volunteer their time to advance our mission outside of the workplace,” said John Gladden, president and CEO
DDOK employee benefits also include paid time off, educational reimbursement, an employee assistance plan, and employer-paid short-term disability policy which compensates 100% of an employee’s salary.
“We strive to provide a benefits package reflective of our esteem, which includes 401(k) contributions of 10.5 to 11.5% of our employees’ salaries prior to their own contributions,” said Gladden. “Various activities, team-building events and lunches are also provided to recognize employees for their hard work and dedication that enables us to meet our corporate mission of advancing the oral health of all Oklahomans.”
