“I cannot think of a better time to recognize Captain Supertooth’s important contributions to our community than on National Superhero Day,” said John Gladden, president and CEO, Delta Dental of Oklahoma (DDOK). “Captain Supertooth has performed for more than 310,000 of our state’s youth since the inception of the program.”
“DDOK is committed to teaching children about the benefits of regular brushing, flossing and overall oral health,” said Terrisa Singleton, director, Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation. “We are happy to launch a newly designed website for Oklahoma’s children, parents and education leaders.”
Funded entirely by DDOK through its Foundation, the Captain Supertooth Program is provided free of charge to Oklahoma schools and is for students in kindergarten through the third grade. Participating children receive complimentary toothbrushes and brush charts as well as an engaging, lively performance by Captain Supertooth.
