Delta Dental of Oklahoma today announced the promotion of Tania Graham to the position of chief operating officer.
Graham joined Delta Dental of Oklahoma as a part-time administrative assistant in the summer of 1990 while she was a student at the University of Central Oklahoma. For 27 years, Graham rose through the ranks of Oklahoma’s leading dental benefits provider and served in numerous roles, most recently as vice president of operations.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Delta Dental in this new position,” said Graham. “I value every experience I’ve had during my tenure here, and I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead.”
As COO, Graham is responsible for direction and oversight of the Claims, Customer Service and Provider Relations departments. She will serve as a member of Delta Dental of Oklahoma’s senior management team, and provide counsel to the organization’s president and CEO, John Gladden.
“Tania has been a key member of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma team for more than 27 years,” Gladden said. “She has managed numerous projects during her tenure that advanced our organization to what it is today. There’s no doubt Tania’s experience and dedication will continue to benefit our members going forward.”
Graham replaces Barbara Fennell, who retired on Sept. 8 after 30 years of dedicated service.
Graham holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Mid-America Christian University. She is a member of the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM) Steering Committee and is a regular volunteer at the event.
Graham is the mother of two children, Kyndal (age 16) and Zack (age 12). Her children attend Deer Creek High School and Deer Creek Middle School respectively, and are both active in athletics. Graham supports them from the sidelines, and as an officer in the Deer Creek High School Softball Booster Club.
