Good Shepherd Clinic receives donation from Bank of America in response to challenge grant from Delta Dental of Oklahoma’s Foundation

    The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has donated $7,500 to the Good Shepherd Clinic in response to a challenge grant awarded by DDOK Oral Health Foundation.

    Delta Dental of Oklahoma’s Oral Health Foundation will match this and every qualified donation raised from now until the end of the year through awarded a $50,000 challenge grant to Good Shepherd clinic. Funds raised will be used to further Good Shepherd Ministries’ mission to provide free compassionate care to uninsured Oklahomans.

    “Good Shepherd Ministries is doing great work in Oklahoma providing crucial care and services to the uninsured,” said Terrisa Singleton, director of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation. “Our hope is to use this challenge grant to not only provide more care to vulnerable populations, but to encourage the community to give to an organization that is building up our neighbors, community and city.”

    Good Shepherd Ministries’ dental clinic provides comprehensive preventive dental services and restorative dental procedures including cleanings, oral hygiene care, sealants and emergencies.

    “We are excited to begin our challenge grant campaign and are truly humbled by the generous hearts at Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation,” Good Shepherd Ministries Executive Director Pam Timmons said. “More so than ever, we are in a time where Oklahomans need our medical and dental services. We are grateful for Bank of America Charitable Foundation for helping us with this challenge grant and helping to reach more people needing medical and dental assistance.”
