“I’d like to acknowledge our Foundation staff, our Authorizing Dentist, Dr. Erin Sexson, and our team of dental hygienists whose dedication and hard work resulted in nearly 2,000 at-risk children receiving preventive dental care they likely would not have received otherwise,” said Terrisa Singleton, director of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation.
“I’m very grateful to Delta Dental of Oklahoma, including president and CEO John Gladden, for encouraging this program,” Terrisa added. “Without the funding and full support of DDOK this the school-based sealant program would not be possible.”
DDOK’s Foundation expanded the CPC program to include Tulsa-area and rural schools, in addition to the OKC metro, during its second year (2016-2017 school year). To date, DDOK has contributed $300,000 to make these clinics possible.
“Our Foundation’s work to develop and launch the school-based sealant program fulfilled a critical need in our state,” said John Gladden, DDOK president and CEO. “I continue to be proud of the work Terrisa and her team do to advance our mission to help all Oklahomans achieve oral health.”
