    Free Two-Day Dental Clinic in Woodward – February 3 and 4, 2017

Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation is proud to be a co-producer at the eighth annual Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM) at the Woodward County Events Center on February 3 and 4, 2017. Volunteers will transform the space into a fully-functional dental facility offering a variety of services including cleanings, fillings, extractions and anterior root canals at no cost to patients.

“Our goal is to provide immediate relief to those in need of dental care,” said Delta Dental of Oklahoma President and CEO, John Gladden. “Tens of thousands of Oklahomans across our state do not have access to dental services; and while we know the tremendous impact Oklahoma Mission of Mercy has, we recognize the continued need for dental care in our communities.”

Mr. Gladden and Oklahoma Dental Association President, Dr. Edmund Braly shared more insight about OkMOM with Dave Morris of NewsOK in a recent interview. Watch the full interview here.

About half of Oklahomans lack dental insurance. For many, OkMOM is a life-changing event. Since 2010, OkMOM has treated 12,175 patients, totaling $8,742,959 in donated dental services. That is an average of $718 worth of care per patient!

Patients are advised to arrive early as treatment will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no eligibility or income requirement to seek treatment at OkMOM.

Courtesy indoor line formation opens at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 and again at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3. Clinic begins at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4.

Oklahoma Mission of Mercy is co-produced by the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation, the Oklahoma Dental Association and the Oklahoma Dental Foundation.
